3rd and 4th infusions – both good – but I think I would stop at 4.

2nd infusion – success! “just right” even with the large amount of loose leaf.

Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Tea…Breakfast of Champions! LOL I over steeped the amount but not the length only because this is the last of the tin I bought. I will be doing resteeeps today

Tasting more black tea with hints of chocolate. Almost like a Semi-Sweet meets Dark Chocolate Mix.

My morning cup…back logging

Had a chocolate fit going on but didn’t want to actually EAT chocolate. This fits this bill :)

This smells and tastes CHOCOLATE without being ‘too much’. What a delightful cuppa. Nice blend. Nice treat. I agree with the previous comment…oversteeping it doesn’t damage it…incase you choose to or do it by mistake. ENJOY!

2nd Infusion. A bit bitter but not as bold. Still pretty good tho.

As I am finishing up my stash of this loose leaf tea I am very happy this morning as I have just been accepted as a Tea Reviewer over at The Tea Review Blog! YAY! I believe my first post will go up today!!!! Now…back to this tea. Since this was the last of my stash I steeped a bit more loose leaf because I wouldn’t have have enough for a separate steep so I will be trying multiple infusions with this today. This first one was really bold and dark – it’s time to see what the 2nd Infusion does…

Wanted a flavored black from Adagio. This is the first one that wasn’t fruity that I found in my tea drawer at work. Pleasant…understeeped for a change.

Needed a black tea this morning after kicking my morning off with a herbal tea. Not sure why but I tend to have a black tea for my first cup and it’s free game after that. Well, today I mixed it up a bit. Anyhow…this is my black tea for this morning (at least my first one). I still like the fact that it’s ‘just enough’ vanilla to be a flavored black tea. I’m already thinking about my next cup…what will it be!? WOW! That sounds like a tea addiction, doesn’t it!?

It’s black tea but creamy. Smells nice. Still surprised I like it the way I do because I usually don’t go for the vanillas…but I do…I like it…and I will admit it.

Wanted to start with the Flavored Black but tastes switched for my 2nd Cup of the day. This was extreme in aroma today but not as much in vanilla flavor…it was almost smoky…maybe I steeped too many leaves…still good tho…just different.

Backlogging. This tasted exceptionally good yesterday!

The color is dark. The scent is plentiful prior to steeping. The Vanilla aroma is still present after the steep but not as intense. The taste is more Ceylon than Vanilla which in my book is good. If you are looking for an overpowering vanilla flavor this is not it but I think it blends well for a good flavored black tea.

Backlogging a bagged version of this. I was in a pinch. Backlogging 3 cups worth actually. It’s been a hellish week!

2nd Infusion…MUCH better (when your water is hot) LOL

First cup of the day…something happened with the hot water pot at work and the water wasn’t hot enough to make this tea flavorful – other than the orange – but I still drank it…sigh…

I was so happy to receive this in the mail for link rewards as some of you know I recently ran out. I must say this ‘batch’ smells quite different than my last. Not that that is good, bad, or indifferent just that is smells different! It seems to be more perfumy. I noticed more of the ‘blue-ish/purple’ in this blend too. While tasting – it’s pretty much the same but a little less of the bergamot. Regardless this is still a great tea. I love it! Thanks!

Why is it that some teas seem to give you the best steep – at the last loose leaf in the tin? This happened to me today. It was SO Delish! I will prob re-order this at some point. I really like it!
