And it’s time for this one again! I only steeped it two minutes, yet it still smells sharp and bold. It tastes great too. I’ll try and resteep it at least once before moving onto another cup. (Sadly I am awful for not re-steeping multiple times…)
And now that I’ve read all your logs and contributed my own, it’s off to the job board!
And… not to ravelry. (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/cavocorax)
:( I just finished knitting scarves for my daughter and my nephew and am out of projects at the moment and it’s making me mental! I need to be working on something but I don’t have any inspiration at the moment. Part of me thinks I should teach myself crochet so I have more options, while I ALSO think I should keep on knitting so I get better at that!
Riiiiigh. Job board? Ok then. I’ll be back in an hour or so. :P

Probably not the sort of things I’m capable of making! Some of those projects out there are so awesome!
I made this a while back. Super fun and surprisingly easy: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/gruurly/dwarven-battle-bonnet-2
MissB – that looks cool, but also scarily complicated! And is that you on Ravelry? Cuz if so, I’ll follow you. :P
Veronica – knitting is pretty fun, based on what I’ve done so far, but it seems like crochet is more flexible because of how you connect the stitches? IDK. I like the idea of making toys with crochet.
I think I’m going to attempt this awesome Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming scarf as my next project: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/winter-is-coming-scarf I just picked up some black and some light grey yarn from Walmart to see how I do. J thinks I should make our buddy a House Stark toque instead – I’m considering it if I can find an easy pattern! #noob
Anyway, if you guys are on ravelry, here’s my profile if you want to follow.
Cavo, that scarf looks awesome! My brother is totally into the books, but isn’t really a scarf-wearer… so if you find a toque pattern, let me know. :)
I didn’t, sadly. :( I think you could make your own using this: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stark-sigil-game-of-thrones-a-song-of-ice-and-fire but I’m not at that skill level where I can combine those two things. :P
Yep, that’s me! :) It was really easy. I thought it was more than I could handle to be frank – I have yet to conquer anything with multiple colors. If you can knit in the round, do basic cables, and cast off, you can definitely make it. It only took me a week from start to finish too, and that shocked me.
Um…..I like things lol

I want to learn to knit for the same reason you want to learn to crochet. :)

That’s crazy you were able to do it so quickly! I’m hoping that I can get these mitts done by the end of the week, and that I get my scarf done before Winter is Over. :P I don’t have high expectations on how quickly I can do anything I guess.
