drank Pu-erh by Harney & Sons
1598 tasting notes

Sipdown (118 teas, and roughly 108 oz left!)!

This one is still very earthy, but not dirty and very good. I won’t restock it as I’m certain I will find better puerh’s out there, but I’m happy that I found one I could be friends with.

I guess if I’m worried about tea staining the tops of my teeth I should watch out for pu-erhs especially. Or drink from a straw, but that’s sorta ridiculous. Maybe my next job will have an awesome dental plan with teeth whitening in it? :O :O :O (yeahright)

ETA: I have over 120 followers now! That’s crazy. Thanks guys for making me feel like part of such a great community!

it’s nice to feel loved, isn’t it? i just made an order from harney’s…. i have a whole separate set of rolling storage drawers now because it was taking over the house. time to follow your lead and sipdown!!!

108oz! LOL, I’m afraid to weigh all of my tea, but maybe I should. Maybe the shock & awe will keep me from buying anything for awhile :).

My dentist’s office called the other day. Seems I’m overdue for my annual clean & check. If they had their way it would be twice a year, but since I have no insurance of any kind, they are lucky to see me once every 18 months or so.
By the way, I recently came across a recipe for homemade whitening toothpaste. It’s a mix of powdered activated charcoal, baking soda, coconut oil, & peppermint essential oil. I may give it a try. Here’s the link:

Thanks! I’ll try to remember that!

I’m really curious about the charcoal toothbrushes that someone posted on Facebook. Curious to the point of considering an Amazon order for some! :) Maybe they’d help?

I am making the coconut oil, cal mag powder, baking soda, and peppermint oil one I like it so far! My friend who has dry mouth issues from medications says now that she used my home made toothpaste she no longer needs the artificial saliva. It feels weird when you first start brushing, but your mouth does feel fresh and clean after.
