141 Tasting Notes
Back to studies means sometimes grabbing tea a timmy’s on the way to class. On Wednesday, I was way to busy to steep my own tea in the morning so I grab Eg with my breakfast. Even though I don’t want to be back to the daily grind, this tea is one good thing to keep my mind on.
So This is my long awaited day 10 ( official) of the advent calendar. So what happened with my box is that DT gave me Kiwi’s Big Adventure twice ( Day 10 & day 20… not that I’m complaining). So I explained this to customer service and they so kindly sent me 50g of Detox. That really made my day. This tea is surprising tasty. I have tried a detox tea before and didn’t quite like it, so I was surprised by how good it tastes. All in all this tea is good and it feels cleansing, which is perfect for the new year.
So I decided to crack these guys open today. It was my first tea at school for the new year. While it tastes good, I prefer the Camellia Sinensis pearls way better. These gewt bitter if steeped too long. Still a pretty good dragon pearl. I would classify the pearls as Camellia Sinensis ( as #1), Teopia/Teavana as #2 and DT as my third choice.
I am so glad that I finally got my DT order !!! I was dying to open this and brew a cup. I opened the order on Saturday and brewed myself a mug of this Sunday. Such a great to to have on such a relaxing day. I love the little marshmallows in this one.. sometimes I like to snack on them. tee hee.
So I tried this tea New Years eve at a cafe. I have been dying to try this tea company for a while so I was glad that this cafe carries it. I decided to go with the dragon pearls to see how it tastes. I loved it. I got worried at first because it didn’t color as it steeped. But when I tried it, it was like sipping heaven. I just adored it. I love this tea so much that I bought a little tin of it. Cannot wait to go home and brew this. Happy Belated New Year :)
