Finally I got to try this amazing oolong everybody is talking about. It’s not my first milk oolong. I quite enjoyed some from Della Terra and Teavivre. The smell is intoxicating condensed milk and coconut. Tastes sweet, buttery, coconuts. The smell reminded me when my mom used to make ghee. Sweet and savory at the same time. Amazing

Thanks Angel for a free sample with my recent order. Dry it smells like chocolate and rose, very subtle rose. brewed its chocolatey rosey, more chocolate.sweet taste, some grain flavor like rye. as it became cooler flavors became more pronounced and sweet. i enjoyed it a lot. on my shopping list

I am so very happy that you are enjoying this tea! When I found the mao cha on one of my recent buying trips in China, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, it had an affect on my energy that was so positive. So… I bought it all, pressed a few hundred cakes and shipped the rest back as mao cha. The mao cha has sold out, but I just got their autumn crop of the mao cha and am pressing 500 cakes of it, along with shipping 100 lbs of the mao cha. So excited. The autumn crop is equally delicious, though less of the sourness that is present in spring material.
I’m just so excited that others are finding this tea as good as I did/do!

very nice Assam i had this morning after irish oatmeal with dried fruits. very solid and flavorful cup. I ended up adding splash of whole milk and 1tsp maple syrup. it reminds me Harney’s Nahorhabi Assam Full Leaf a lot. Maybe im wrong. will have to test it side by side

No jasmine flavor for me but knowing this from other reviews i mixed some Harney’s jasmine pearls I had. very nice delicate result. i want to try cold steep
Edit: i think i prefer it cold steeped. peach is very pronounced and very juicy. i gave it to my daughter to try and she said its also kind of minty and have cooling sensation. i think it will be great summer iced tea

i love this one too boychik (seems we have similar tastes in general!). it’s deceptive—seems simple and straightforward, just an easy-drinking tea, but it does what it does so well that you find yourself thinking about it later, pining and happy. kinda like when you’re a teenager and some person you’ve never thought of “that way” suddenly’s on your mind a lot, haha.
