2970 tasting notes

Thank you to Love some Tea for the free sample.

I used the whole pouch (4-5g?) in 450 mL hot (not boiling) water, ~3 minutes

I made this one hot, and I really enjoyed it. The green base has bitter tendencies, but holds up in short steeps. What I really like about this one is the coconut flavour they use. It is extremely natural tasting and very creamy. It reminds me a lot of those coconut milk flavoured bin-bin rice crackers. It is the sort of creamy coconut you expect from coconut greek yoghurt. The sweetness and creaminess is similar to rice pudding. Absolutely delicious! The coconut, despite its creaminess, goes very well with the base they chose, it is a good pairing.

Flavors: Coconut, Creamy, Green, Milk, Rice Pudding, Sweet, Thick, Tropical

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 3 min, 15 sec 5 g 15 OZ / 450 ML

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
