Trust me when I say this is only for those who like all-fruit tisanes. While this has very pleasant fruit flavours (from the pieces of real fruit), there is also a strong tartness from rose hip, hibiscus, or citric acid (or all of the above, no ingredients are listed).

Don’t try this hot unless you like tart, fruity teas. It makes a decent iced tea, but I personally can’t take the sourness unless I counter it with sugar. It does brew a lovely pink colour though!

Edit: found the ingredients. Apparently it does indeed feature the sour combo: rosehips, hibiscus, and citric acid. This blend would be hugely improved by going a bit lighter on one or more of these ingredients. By having this amount, they ruined what could have been pleasantly tart.

Flavors: Apple, Citrus Fruits, Fruity, Hibiscus, Orange Blossom, Peach, Sour, Stewed Fruits, Tangy, Tart

Maybe it would be okay cold brewed?

When I do iced tea, I use cold water to brew it. It is definitely better cold brewed, or at least consumed cold.

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
