Another cup down!
I’ve written here before about the thrill of watching the “times drunk” counter go up on Steepster. Its an odd moment, when a tea you don’t like surpasses a tea you love. The power of the work cupboard!
But that’s part of my current sipdown goals. I am working on it so my cupboard has a strong spine of teas I love and drink often, and a smaller component of teas that I am trying, as opposed to what I have now- teas I love being neglected as the other teas swamp me.
I feel better equipped to enjoy tea when I don’t feel overwhelmed by it. Its been one of the major lessons of my adult life- less is more, when it comes to my enjoyment of things.
And one of the things I am not really enjoying is this tea. It will be good to see it go. Soon!

Love your approach. Need to do the same with my closet, craft supplies, bookshelf, refrigerator, garage, shed, sewing box…

Rosehips

Me too! That’s my project for the year, to curate cupboard, closet, craft supplies, kitchen….. everything really, so that I have fewer things that I’ll use more!

Rosehips

And, more importantly, enjoy more.

but I can’t get rid of it. It’s still perfectly (viable, wearable, readable, usable, drinkable)….!

gmathis

(I’m not helping, am I?)

Rosehips

But you have perfectly voiced my inner monologue! Its a daily battle against that particular thrifty side of myself.

Evol Ving Ness

hahahhaa, gmathis. You and me both.

And Rosehips too (as I read along in the thread).

I’ve started the konmari thing, but so far I am only at the staging level. It is taking me forever to get things set up to even start with the first category because you have to haul out every single item from that category from all the hiding places. AND create space so that you can put all these items before you even start. Gah!

But when this is in motion, it’ll be fabulous.

I love tea! I confess that I was a hot chocolate lover for most of my life, but recently a switch has gone off in my brain, and suggested that I might just love tea. And I do!
I’m a bit of a novice, but an enthusiastic one, and am happily sipping new varieties all the time.
I love vanilla, fruity, and caramel flavors, and cant wait to try more.
