431 Tasting Notes
Thank you Jessica for allowing me a taste of this tea
It is very light and the raspberry isn’t at all artificial I can tell ever so slightly that there was a use of champagne only because of the crisp flavor of the raspberry where in fact I don’t actually taste the champagne at all. I am happy to have tried this but not sure if I would purchase this. However, it may be amazing cold. I only say this because I am not the biggest of fan of white teas. However, with that being said this is better than most whites I have had.
Preparation
Thanks Doulton for this tea sample.
I too liked the name and simply had to try it and I found it to be very yummy. I would say it is smooth in that the blend was well-balanced but not at all creamy. It feels high-brow and complex, rich and sophisticated as I suppose Notting Hill must be. :-). I am enjoying this cup and am glad for the opportunity to taste it.
Preparation
Thank you Jessica for sending me this tea.
There isn’t much more I can say about this that hasn’t already been said. It is amazing and delicious. The flavors work so well together. My favorite has to be the rose.
Preparation
I love the underlying flavors in here, especially the almond. It is delicious and with a touch of cream and sweetener it helps take off the edge from the cayenne pepper. I love spicy food nothing usually deters me but I don’t do spicy for the sack of doing it. It truly has to make sense in what it is used in. I like it’s use in this tea but, and that is a BIG BUT it should have not stolen the show but rather played a small role for example maybe some stage scenery. If the pepper is taken down a few notches this tea would be a show stopper.
Preparation
I’m not sure I’d add a “touch” of cream to any tea… I never go less than a TB of coffee creamer or 1/2 milk. To bring up the chocolate more (which in turn will make the pepper seem less), you may want to 86 the sweetener (I tried it once and I found that it dumbed down the chocolate), or try it completely neat. Hopes this helps you boost the rating:)
I don’t know I am really not tasting this. It tastes funny. I will try again and hope I can bump this up. I had such high hopes.:-(
Preparation
I just got a bag of this today in my order from 52teas. I too have high hopes because I need at least one winner out of my bargain 4-pack.
Mine was actually very good this morning. I noticed you used 4.5 minutes but I went the full 6 min. Maybe a longer steep would help?
Wow, can’t believe I am the first to review this tea. It is simply wonderful. I found this to be slighty sweet, incredibly smooth and creamy, definitely got the Irish Cream flavor out of this. I didn’t get any bitterness at all. It is like creamy silk. Amazingly relaxingly good.
Preparation
Thank you Doulton for passing this tea onto me.
It was delicious, not sure if it was a true caramel flavor but there was a sweet roasted flavor that was very enjoyable. It is a sophisticated flavor that I believe I will continue to enjoy the more I drink it.
Preparation
I feel like I am cheating with this one. My best friend bought me a loaf of Toasted Coconut Bread from a Farmers Market and I thought this tea would be a perfect compliment. Boy, was I right. Yummy, light and creamy. Just enough coconut to say it was there and the vanilla and cream made this slightly sweet and definaetly smooth. I felt the bread was the hit of the show and the tea the supporting actor. If they both were bold then I feel it would have been overwhelming and thus uncomplimentary. A perfect pairing. Like an old married couple still in love.
Preparation
That combo sounds lovely, and the label photo is beautiful. Makes me wish I was on a beach right now!
It really was good and really it was like the coconut was in the background so don’t expect a big coconut flavor.
Caitlin, I will send you some of this tea when I get your package out. Sorry, the bread you will have to find yourself. Not giving that stuff up. LOL :-)
