431 Tasting Notes
Very tasty, I am noticing that trend with this company. I also am finding that all their teas have one thing on common. They are all well balanced and taste like what they should, at least so far. I found this on to be a solid tea. The Yunnan and Jasmine do so well together. You have to try it to understand it and it will be going into my “Shopping Cart”
Preparation
Signature Blend Pass 2/72
It is minty bu not overbaring. In general not a bad tea but not something I usually go for. I will not be keeping any of this for me. However, I am sure others will like this one more than I. It is a “It’s Not You, It’s Me Tea”
I took part in the Adagio Signature Blends pass which includes 72 teas generously contributed by those taking part in the pass and I once I am done I will pass this box to the next person on the list with a few more teas of mine that I will include. It is bunches of fun. This is my second time.

Wow, you’re trying all 72? I had a hard time narrowing down my selections to around 25 because I knew I’d never get through them all, nor would I enjoy them all. I give props to you for trying them all! Enjoy the TTB. I had it a few passes ago!
I have received my Signature Blends Box from Adagio Teas. This is the 2nd Pass around and I randomly picked this one to log first.
1/72
Light, refreshing, but i don’t really taste the individual flavors (maybe a little pear) and I would have rather enjoyed it if I could have but it is sill ok. I am glad to have tried but will not take any for myself to keep. Will pass the rest on.
Preparation
Okay so I finally mustered the courage to try this and was so curious on how I would like it based on the rave reviews. So here goes…
First time I made this it tasted like mildly fruity hot water with a touch of butter, but basically flavorless. I tried to steep it longer but no dice. However, I decided not to give up on this one figured it must have been my error in preparation. So I tried again despite knowing I haven’t had too much luck with fruity teas especially those that are green.
So I started from scratch with a little more tea and longer steep time, and BAM there was flavor. Now it was alright as fruity teas go for me but considering all the flavors that went into this I am surprised it wasn’t the train wreck I thought it might have been. (Sorry, Frank!) Although, the fruit base was doable I must say the sencha really made this one come to life for me. In the end it was that buttery taste I loved the most.
End Result: Ya did alright kid…ya did alright!
Preparation
Steeped this in an entire glass of hot Almond Milk. Not bad…tastes like a spicy hot chocolate. Fortunately, not overly spicy either. :-)
Preparation
I had this twice now for free at my local Tea Gschwendner since I am still their FourSquare Mayor. It it rich, I get the tobacco flavor, it is complex with multiple layers of flavors which I love. I am putting this in my shopping cart as well. It is complicated in a good way just like me.
This is a great tea. It is so flavorful. Looks like I will be putting this on my wish list for September once my ban is over. Just read the discription, it is just as it is described. Yummy!
I like Yunnan teas, and I really like Jasmine teas…….sounds like a great blend and a great tea!
