I am trying to make up a note in my head for this tea for a few days, but I always fell flat. Today is no exception, however I will try. My friend told me it doesn’t have to be long, but it just has to be honest. She’s right!

A little digression coming up: My father turns 65 today and we had a “little” party yesterday. I also had a lecture, so I missed most of the party… but still it is 15 people in our house. I have to say I had some nasty panic attacks all weekend and I can’t wait to have it all over.

The tea is my new daily drinker. The base tea is light, but present well in taste. Moreover it gives so needed caffeine boost. The flavour of blackcurrant is real and there is no chalky taste that I have noticed in last blackcurrant tea I had. It is quite juicy, flavourful and genuine as I wrote already. As of mint, it is not much present in a sip. However then a menthol freshness covers the throat and it is nice and refreshing.

This does sound nice! Hope you have the opportunity to enjoy some quieter time with your dad.

I understand the anxiety around having so many people. At least the party is over, and I hope you can get some time to celebrate with your dad. Sixty-five is a big milestone!

I have odd moments of social anxiety from time to time. It is probably not the same reaction you have, but I can sympathize. I’m glad you mentioned it. Sometimes putting it into words makes it less troublesome for me. Hope your dad had a happy birthday and you were able to spend some time with him.

Thank you all. Maddy I have to agree completely. For me it is even better that I have to think in English, instead my native language.
This time it was truly bad and I don’t see any parcticular reason for that. However, it’s over and it’s more than fine now.

I am drinking almost everything. Tea bag collector who moved to wonderful world of loose leaf.

Trying to rate differently tea bags and loose leaf as tea bags have usually worse quality.

Photographer now and then. Postcrossing and geocaching member. Very curious person. Logistics student (should finish in June 2021).

Buried in tea right now. Is in my cupboard (trying to be updated) which sparkled your interest? Write me, I would gladly share with you. But I don’t want anything in return now :)
