April Sipdown Alphabet Challenge: “S” Tea
So this is the same tea that I have but my bag of it says Stress Blocker on it.
It has some interesting herbal ingredients actually like mistletoe and birch leaves. Tastewise it’s a very mild herbal-tasting tea. I can taste the tiniest bit of lemon though.
I feel really calm after drinking this even with the paper I just started writing that is due in several hours. I suppose it could be just a coincidence though the calm feeling. I will have to keep trying it to see if it’s actually the tea working.
2021 Sipdown #60:
April Sipdown Alphabet Challenge: “R” Tea
I actually looked at the temperature Harney recommends for my cup of this and realized that I’ve been steeping it at the white tea setting on my kettle when they recommend the green tea temperature. So I brewed this cup at 175F and it was much better!
This tea very much feels like an easter tea in terms of flavor. H&H’s almond flavoring is a little more subtle than I prefer. I do like this one more than Soho though. I think this tea would be delicious if the almond flavoring used had more of a marzipan-type flavor. It’s a nice tea but a little too subtle in flavor for me.

April Sipdown Alphabet Challenge: “Q” Tea
So I added a little too much milk to this one but it’s just a minty chamomile herbal tea. I like that there are some good herbs in this one like raspberry leaf and skullcap though. This was my only Q tea and it’s actually a family member’s herbal tea technically that they had forgotten about. I would assume based on the name that it’s a sleepytime type tea.

International Mother Earth Day
I had a sachet of this that was from Christmas and decided to brew this up for earth day since it’s has pu-erh. I’ve always wanted to try this one from DavidsTea but for some reason, I just never ended up ordering it. It actually tastes really nice compared to a lot of digestive teas. It’s earthy with a hint of orange and I can taste the ginger root as well but it is really mild. It’s not even spicy. As a health tea I think I have other ones that work better so I don’t know that I’d order this one. I’m glad I got to try a cup of it.

I really liked this one! It’s a really yummy earl grey. I don’t know what Pandan tastes like but I think it adds some sweetness in this tea. The bergamot is lovely and the sweetness almost adds a vanilla custard note as well. I need to get my hands on some more Ette Tea at some point. Though I’m not sure how since they never got back to me about shipping to the U.S. I ended up re-steeping my cup of this.
