1324 Tasting Notes
This was a freebie that was included in my advent from AJRimmer. I drank this back in November? when I received the advent and have been enjoying it. This is my last cup and the lavender is definitely the strongest flavor. It’s got a tiny bit of a cooling note from the mint as well. It’s a delicious herbal and super relaxing nighttime blend. I’d definitely get more of this one if I ever order from them.

This one didn’t remind me of cobbler but had a nice and soft peaches-and-cream vibe to it. The ceylon base was maybe a little too strong compared to the peach and somewhat metallic and tannic. I really liked the peach and cream in this one just not the base tea. I always forget that I think B&B teas are more designed for milk and I need to try this one next time with milk. I started watching Queer Eye last week so this was my cup of tea that I drank while watching an episode.

The dry leaf of this one is pretty. Steeped up the flavor is quite salty with some cardamom as well. The licorice is there but quite faint and perhaps add a touch of sweetness. It’s not as heavy on the rice and green tea as the other genmaicha’s I’ve had. So much so that I don’t know that I would recognize this as one if I was blindtasting it. I’m not sure that this one works for me and I’ve also never been one for salty snacks etc. A fun one to try as it was quite bizarre haha.
This advent calendar has been amazing and so fun to try. I feel like I have a better understanding of a few companies offerings and got to try a ton of new teas. I also got to cross off a few teas that were on my wishlist and added a couple teas as well that I need more of…. Thanks again! AJRimmer

This one was delicious and I drank it without any milk or sweetner. I’ll try my next cup of this with milk since I have a little left. It’s a sweet dessert blend and was chocolate-y and nutty. I don’t mind the stevia in this one but I’m not exactly sensitive to stevia either. This one has chicory in it and I tend to really enjoy DavidsTea blends with chicory. I’d purchase some of this one. Glad I got to try it because otherwise, I don’t know that it would have made it into my cart.

This one was a nice herbal tea and reminds me a lot of one that my mom blends for me. It’s best with a little sweetener and milk to help soften the taste of some of the herbs.

This one is a nice breakfast tea. There was also quite a bit of sweetness which I assume was from the sprinkles. Unfortunately, I didn’t taste anything specifically that reminded me of birthday cake other than the sweetness from the sprinkles. I enjoyed my cup of this but wanted more in terms of it fitting the concept. It was a nice and sweet breakfast black tea without milk.

I thought it was funny that earlier in the advent I was talking about how excited I was for a lemon lavender tea. If I remember correctly I loved that herbal one but didn’t taste much lavender. Well… here’s another lemon lavender tea it’s like you read my mind that I wanted to try more of them.
This one delivers the lavender and the lemon! I didn’t get the cookie element from this one but it did give me lemon cake vibes. Which is close enough for me since I love cake and lemon loaves. The lavender is quite subtle but the lemon here is the primary flavor. It’s a light and delicious dessert tea. I could see myself picking up more of this one! Cuppa Geek has some great spring/summery flavored blends. Drank this one without any milk or sweetener.

52 Teas 12 Days Of Tea Advent: Day 9
The dry leaf smell made me a bit nervous but I was surprised by this one. I also had no idea what a plum pryanik was when I smelled the dry leaf. I looked it up afterward and they look like really tasty cookies. Really enjoyed this one as it’s such a unique herbal tea. The honey taste in this one was really good. The lemongrass was such a lovely contrast to the spices. The second steep was somewhat weak but reminded me of cola probably from the spices in this tea.
