The book I was reading last night has a character who just moved to The States from England and she was drinking Yorkshire tea which made me instantly want a cup. So this morning I decided to make a cup of Yorkshire Gold. I’ve never tried just the plain Yorkshire Teabags though. I added a bit of soymilk to the cup and it paired perfectly. This really hit the spot today it’s such a classic tea and was delicious. It’s funny how you forget how good a breakfast tea can be. I don’t reach for this one nearly as much as I should. Into the tea focus pile, it goes!

I remember remarking once that I liked the plain old Yorkshire variety better than the Yorkshire Gold, though for the life of me, I can’t remember why. A side-by-side would be fun.
