I ordered a sample pouch of this along with a gift for a family member. For some reason, this past year all of the Harney sample sizes always seem to be sold out. This is disappointing since I’ve never had issues ordering in the past. Anyways this was one of maybe three teas that weren’t sold out in this size.
I didn’t have any record of trying this one in the past but upon opening up the bag I realize that I have had this one before! I remember a family member buying a tin of it during a sale. Oh well, at least now I can try it again and make a note of it.This one ended up tasting a bit oversteeped but I remember that from previously trying it. I ended up adding some oat milk to it and it definitely helped it taste less bitter/oversteeped. I don’t usually add milk to teas but the flavors do still come through somewhat. There is a faint chocolate flavor and maybe a tiny bit of coconut. (if your a fan of Soho this one is similar especially with milk added)
Before I added the oat milk I could taste some of the floral notes as well.
This tea is a bit too finicky for me and I don’t really think the flavors blend well here but that could just be because of the base. I didn’t love the coconut flavor in Soho and it seems to be the same one used here.

I noticed the same last time I went window shopping their site, and since I have no interest in 4 oz bags (ever), this was a big disappointment for me…

Cuppageek Lemon Swirl has a similar profile to this but I like it better!
Mastress Alita: Agreed I like to order samples before committing to a tin.
Ashmanra: Good to Know! I’ve been wanting to order some Cuppa Geek teas at some point. Hopefully later this year.
