230 Tasting Notes
WHY OH WHY did I wait so long to try this tea? OHMYGOSH it is so wonderful. THis makes me sad that I am no longer a Handmade Tea subscriber. I had so much tea coming out my ears that it did not make sense for me to keep subscribing. BUT this blend! IT Epitomizes winter! I can almost taste the pine trees.
Caleb hit it out of the park again. This tea is a true delight.

I agree, this was a very good tea that makes me wish these blends were available longer. I only have a couple teaspoons left and I’ve been hoarding them for a particular type of mood. Maybe if I do well on this presentation I have due on Friday…
lala – they haven’t advertised that you can get it in canada (no idea why) but essentially if you have a card that goes through once you check out…they will send it to canada. it’s a little weird but if you can pay them, they will send to you lol i haven’t looked into it beyond that but that’s what they told me via Facebook.

I REALLY wanted to like this. The other taster’s who tried it LOVE it. My husband LOVED it. However, to me I got a cough syrup like flavor at the end of the sip that I just could not get around. I am not rating this one because I am sure it is me! I am going to wait and give this tea another chance….
This is a great black tea. I drank it on the way to work this morning and enjoyed every sip. It was not a super bold tea a la a breakfast blend but it had some body and a nice mouthfeel and woke me up just fine.
What a nice black tea! I find it being a little more toned down black, but it certainly produces a very nice flavor (whatever the 5 teas may be).
I could taste the malty sweetness and a TANG of smoke that others have noted. The blend of teas is not listed specifically but I think I love the combination – there is also a tad note of malt.
This is a great blend of straight teas. Yum!
This tea tasted somewhat like hot cinnamon toast crunch cereal. I kept trying to pin down what the flavor was and why it was so familiar. Originally, I made this tea without sugar or milk. I almost NEVER put milk in tea. However, when I added milk to this tea it really made the flavors JUMP out of the cup in a much more dimensional way. It also helped with the mouthfeel by giving the tea additional creaminess. This was an interesting blend, one I am happy I got to try. Thank you KallieBoo! for sending me this sample.
When I got this Tea the writing was in French and I had no clue what it said, We tried it and We thought almost the same thing at first, We was surprised when we looked it up in the booklet and it was supposed to be Toasted Marshmallows lol it was good tho
yeah, this one i definitely needed milk in… I tried it plain (as i usually drink all my teas… but I was not a fan)… But it was tasty with the milk!

As a former coffee addict hazelnut coffee was my FAVORITE.
This tea has a delightful hazlenut aroma. As soon as I opened the bag I realized it was my familiar favorite!
The black tea base is somewhat hidden under the flavor — however, the flavor is SO GREAT that it is okay!
I must admit, I still do cheat on tea with a coffee every now and again…

While I drank this during blizzard Nemo I couldn’t log into Steepster. So it is a bit of a back log.
This is more of a SIPDOWN. Oh, Harvest Brew I loved your spicy flavor, mouth feel and just about everything about you. I drank this tea more then I logged and it was often a go-to for my travel mug on the way to work. Harvest Brew WILL BE MISSED!
I can not wait to get my first handmade tea in the mail! Should be in about a week or so I think Oh how I wish I had a sneak peek at what it is! :)
I LOVE handmade tea. I am not a subscriber at this moment due to the fact that I am OVERWHELMED with tea but when I can bring more tea into my life rejoining is ON THE LIST!

I have had trouble with Pu’erh tea in the past. I WANT TO LIKE IT! However, no matter what I did it just did not seem like my thing. HOWEVER, I REALLY like this tea. (As you can see from my copious USE OF CAPITAL letters!) The earthy pu’erh tea in conjunction with the citrus flavors was REALLY great. Also, I am not a HUGE licorice fan but the lingering taste in the back of my mouth of licorice was actually a nice flavor-feeling element. I put this tea in the shopping list and will savor the rest of my sample.
