230 Tasting Notes
I purchased this tea this afternoon at Whole foods as I needed an additional caffeine free cup for the evenings. I agree with some of the previous tasters who stated that the flavor is delicate. However, after reading the notes I used two teabags instead of one in my mug. This helped the flavor be more robust. I really liked this as an evening sip. The apple flavor is subtle. It does NOT taste like apple cider exactly…but more like an apple wine? Not sure. I really like it though.

This was a free sample I received from The Tea Gathering.
I really LOVE MAPLE. Seriously, maple is my favorite flavor. Sadly, I could not taste the maple here. It was just kind of “meh”.
Anyone know of a great Maple tea?
Oh Canada is delicious – from David’s Tea. I too love maple (it’s my Rochester NY blood, I swear) and it’s my favorite so far. Pancake Breakfast from 52Teas is pretty good as well, if you want something a bit bolder. (Oh Canada is low caffeine or caffeine-free.)
The best maple tea that I’ve ever had is from Tealicious Tea Company in Canada. French Canadian Maple Tea. Amazingly good.
I want to try both of those. I have placed them on my list of tea purchases to make. So many teas so little time and $$!
I really dislike this tea. I have tried it every which way hot, cold, different steeping parameters. It is oddly sweet and metallic. I do not like giving a tea this low of a score.
If you want to drink atomic fireballs after they lose their hot then maybe this is the tea for you.
And I LOVE TEA FORTE. The teas, company, the packaging, the fact that they are based in my state. But, ugh.
The teabag NOT full leaf blend of tazo zen was one of my first tea loves. It was the first tea that made me realize that there was more then lipton.
I had this a few days ago at starbucks for my afternoon cup. It was the whole leaf variety. I only steeped it for about two minutes because the water they put it in is VERY hot, likely higher then what I would do for green tea.
I love the green tea minty goodness. Oh, the joy of a first tea love!
This is my first tasting note in quite some time. My love for tea has not diminished – however my time for everything but the essentials (work, husband, pets, home) has dropped off until now. I am trying to get a better work-life balance! :)
I love this tea. I drank it this morning. It is a slightly sweet way to start the day.
