drank Crème Brûlée by TWG Tea Company
1777 tasting notes

I’ve been doing tasting flights of my TWG teas today to weed out the ones I don’t favor. This is in between supervising a 5 year old cleaning up the marks they drew on the wall (grrrrrrrr) and making Tide jello shots for a party tonight, because at the moment on the internets eating Tide pods is a thing and meme, which makes the shots funny.
This tea is pretty mellow. The flavors are pretty subtle. Very mild sip with the strawberry opening in the aftertaste. The strawberry isn’t bright and fresh, but more rounded which I would take to be the creme brulee part of the tea. It livens up a bit with creamer. The front of the sip is sweeter and more creme brulee like, the strawberry stays about the same. This tea is good, but not quite captivating. Just under captivating. Which doesn’t bode well for remaining in my cupboard.

Bio

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
