Not quite the cup I was in the mood for this morning, but it is a good one. I wish I had tried this one in my malty tea sip off to see how it compares with some of the others. This seems to have a slightly lighter base and a bright note, almost citrusy. There is a light chocolate malt taste. It is smooth with even flavors, but still not jumping out at me. I remember liking the smell much better when I sniffed an open tin at Dean and Deluca’s. I also could have sworn it wasn’t just a black tea, but had more things blended in. Did I get the right tea?! Now I’m wondering…
