35 Tasting Notes
A good, everyday cup of tea. Not too strong in the citrus department. I’ve had other Earl Grey teas that I’ve liked better, but this one is an affordable staple to have around. You can usually find at least a packet or two of this around my place at all times.
(Oh, and five minutes, and I didn’t ruin it! Bonus!!!) :)
Preparation
I like Bigelow Teas. Perfect for tucking a few different teas into your pocket before you head out for work.
This one is yummy. I just read here that the box says to add sugar to bring out the peach flavor. I didn’t do that, since a friend gave me this packet, and therefore, no box to read. I like how sour it is without sugar, though. I really dislike it when I feel like I HAVE to add sugar to a tea to enjoy it.
It’s a little artificial tasting, but not enough to turn me off. Is it my favorite peach tea evah? No. Would I purchase it again? Gladly.
A friend of mine recommended that try some chamomile teas because I’ve been having trouble sleeping.
I am not sure why I tried this…(could have been the free tin, I won’t lie)…because I loathe spearmint. Oddly enough, I love this tea. Everything blends together well, and it is just so soothing. It is such a comforting cup of tea that it has helped me wind down before sleep on a number of occasions now. I will definitely be repurchasing this one. :)
I’ve been feeling very grumpy lately, and this is the only tea that I have been wanting. So much so that I’ve gone though a full box in less than a month.
The first time I tasted this, I really wanted it to be snowing. It seems like it would be perfect for that kind of day.
If you like candy canes, this tea will not disappoint you. I am not a fan of peppermint teas in general…it’s the extras that make this one. Just ask my husband. I pointed it out to him in the middle of the grocery store when he tried to get me the regular peppermint tea by Celestial thinking that they were the same thing. ;)
I do not like what I think is the amount of stevia in this blend. (I do not make a habit of using sweeteners other than sugar, so I could be wrong.) It’s just too darn sweet, artificial tasting, and there’s nowhere near enough pumpkin. I literally had to drain the cup after two sips, and now I am stuck with a box of tea I hate. Boo. :(
