62 Tasting Notes
Had a cup of this in hopes my carb cravings would go away for the morning… they did .. but now they are back in the afternoon lol :) But I do like this tea, each time I have a cup I like it even more. Its a nice break from the fruity teas I normally drink. Nice light nutty taste. Another bonus is that it doesn’t get bitter if you oversteep it.
Preparation
I got this as a sample from my last online order and decided to try it this morning. It was kinda meh, nothing fantastic to write home about and could barely taste the mint. i guess the predominant taste would be the pureh which is fine but I am not a big fan. I will give this another go though as I steeped it at a low temp as it had green tea but DT’s website recommends 98 so that might have had something to do with it.
Preparation
One of my friends recommended that I try this.
On my first cup of it I think I got more green tea than the fruity aspect. I may have also had the water a bit too hot as the tea had a very bitter kick, I always forget how picky I am with my green tea. But I think when I try it again I will be careful with the water temperature. The tea has promise I just know it :)
Preparation
I am trying to finish up the 50g bag of The Skinny tea that I bought last year. I really don’t enjoy the taste of this tea, it reminds me of dishwater and I see someone else below has made that comparison as well so I don’t feel so bad, but I feel as though it has some great health benefits so I will perservere. So I decided to add some of the spearmint tea to it to see if it make it taste better but it did not, now it just tastes like minty dishwater :) One of my friends suggested sprinkling some cinnamon into it so I will try that next time.
Preparation
Decided to have a cup of this tea to warm me up from a cold bike commute to work. Nice peppermint taste. Sometimes I find black teas and me don’t get along because they tend to be bitter but this one I like. Hopefully Davids Tea brings it back as part of their winter collection
