An interesting mix of tightly balled black tea mixed with fuzzy golden leaf, and dark brown leaf. Malty, woody, and somewhat creamy in the aroma as it steeps. Also hints of apple. The wet leaf has notes that remind me of Yunnan leaf. Slight fruit, but mainly malt and milk. The liquor is a very nice rose gold color. Malty flavor but also cream of wheat and mixtures of different wood types. No astringency. Soft mouthfeel. I need to clean up my tea area…. I don’t want to…
