Surprisingly flavorful for a Celestial Seasonings tea. It’s smooth and spicy and tastes kind of like Christmas. It has “reindeer” food that supposedly packs it full of energy.

The only reason I give this a thumbs down is because I have another echinacea tea that I perfer more than this one. Sorry Yogi! I still love you.

I prepared this in a big glass jar in the Texas sun for 4 hours. Cleanliness, hot sun, and quick refrigeration is essential in making “sun tea,” to prevent bacterial growth. Put in a little sugar, some Splenda, and fresh lemon, and it tastes pretty good.

I used to buy this tea from Starbucks, and was quite sad when they stopped carrying it in-store. Every now and then, while I’m travelling, I will find a teabag of this type next to the kettle in my hotel room. I hoard them. The loose leaf tea is better, but this tea even tastes good in tea bags. It’s simply great, green tea.

I made a big batch of this to take to work today. After infusing the tea, I poured the warm mixture over fresh cut lemons and sugar and then put it in the fridge to cool, essentially make a tea-lemonade mix. I really enjoy this tea warm, but I believe the verbena and lemon will be even more refreshing cold.

It’s been a long week. A very long week and I’m in the middle of several weeks with no rest. So, my teas are what I am looking forward to right now. I bought some dried lavender today and decided to try it in this tea. It took a good tea to great! I’m a little new at tea blending, but I definitely enjoyed this one. I mixed 1.5 tsp Earl Grey Cream with 1/2 tsp Vanilla Cream (also from ETS) and 1/2 tsp dried lavender flowers. It is creamy, sweet, and floral in about equal parts. What a great, relaxing tea to be drinking in the middle of a busy Saturday!
I also love this tea on its own. It has a nice, sweet, citrusy taste. I do wish it had slightly more vanilla and bergamot, but is is still good. I find that I actually like this best very lightly sweetened (about 1/3 tsp per cup) and without milk.

My absolute favorite tea. I loved making it as either a hot or iced tea. Unfortunately the company has redesigned the formula for this tea and it seems it doesn’t live up to its predecessor. I’m enjoying my last tea bag and hoping to find another tea similar to its like in the future.

Dark, rich and earthy. A not so delicate, but quite typical Pu erh.

I still think this is a great blend of flavors. One isn’t more overpowering then the other, really. Thumbs Up!

I was lucky enough to score a 4-ounce bag in a Facebook group. It’d been mentioned by someone in the group before and sounded so intriguing that I had to try to track it down. Flavored black teas are my jam and I love marshmallows so I knew that this would almost certainly be a hit. It is. I’m sitting a cuppa this morning.

The marshmallow flavor is lovely and only improves as the tea cools. I added a drop of stevia because I didn’t find that it was as sweet as I was expecting given all the add-ins (gold sugar pearls, sprinkles, mini marshmallows). The caramel flavor is faint but adds a bit of depth to a tea that would otherwise be straight marshmallow (not that I would’ve minded that in the slightest!). The tea did have a bit of an oil slick on top but I used a filter, as suggested by other folks on Steepster, so it wasn’t too bad.

The only negative thing I’d say is that I wish the black tea base was a bit stronger.

This is another new-to-me tea that I’ve tried in the past few weeks that I’ll now have to ration. I haven’t tried many marshmallow teas, but this is, without a doubt, the best I’ve tried thus far. If anyone has suggestions on other, more readily available, marshmallow teas, please let me know.

1st steep: not as sweet as I’d like, and the floral wasn’t at it’s strongest until the end – still pretty good, but not my favorite of this type of tea. we’ll see how subsequent steeps go…
