A nice caramel apple scent greets you upon first whiff. Very enticing. Upon brewing, the tea tasted a little bitter to me. Perhaps I went too long with 5 minutes. That’s what happens when you have a 3 year old distracting you from your tea drinking ;) I added some cream and sugar and it smoothed it out and a caramel apple flavor stayed. Very nice blend.

My husband got the dreaded slap on the wrist from his doctor yesterday about drinking too much tea so now he has to cut it out completely, at least for the next few weeks. It’s a little sad to me since I enjoy our morning tea chats at work, but of course I want him to be healthy so a tea I hiatus it is. For him. :) I’ll still be drinking tea as usual, but probably more so at work so as not to tempt him.

This morning’s cup was so good, definitely a comforting favorite. I am not pickup up on the bergamot in the dry tea lately, but I definitely noticed it while the tea was steeping and also in the flavor. This is always a good, predictable cup any time of day.

drank Orange & Spice by Lipton

After watching a documentary on Hulu about tea I decided to give Lipton a try again. I grew up with Lipton in the house but when I got older and discovered loose leaf teas I left the grocery store brands behind. I’m really glad that Hulu inspired me to give Lipton another shot because this tea is really good! There’s something so soothing and simple about it. And for those who don’t like the orange rind flavor, me neither. Thankfully there’s none of that in Orange & Spice!

My brother brought some of these from Arizona for his trip, and I used to drink them. Now in Oregon, we are having a hard time finding them. The taste is wonderful, not too sweet, and the mango taste is great. I had a nice tall can 23.5 FL. OZ. Now that is a can. He was hoping to buy some to leave with, but he couldn’t find any. I’ve been searching and can’t find any online. :(

Nothing beats a solid cup of black tea, especially darjeeling with its deceptively simple, underlying flavours. This is a high quality darjeeling which is amazingly flavourful and enjoyable. I f you like black tea, definitely check this out.

I had no idea what the Jasmine would taste like and normally I don’t drink a lot of green tea but this was LOVELY. Upon smelling it was just like the one you are served at a Chinese restaurant. Upon tasting it was even nicer.

I’m not a huge fan of this tea. It’s not bad but it’s not my favorite. I know a lot of people love it so maybe I just don’t have the taste for it. It’s basically a fruitier version of their forever nuts tea (which I love). It has notes of apple, cinnamon, and pineapple. I taste a little of the papaya but it’s not a lot of papaya.

A lot of flavors, with that same sarsaparilla aftertaste that you get with a lot of licorice teas. One of my favourites.
