Popular Tasting Notes
Best steep yet without a doubt. Rice/popcorn flavor is the first thing I taste, with a green tea-ish after taste. I like how the rice hits the tongue first. Put a little over 2 teaspoons into 16oz of water, seems like just the right amount. Steeped for 3:30. Enjoying. Right. Now.
Preparation
I made this tonight as a latte (it isn’t too often I won’t drink something as a latte) and I really love this tea! I actually love it either straight too. It has a wonderful cake flavor, but it isn’t too overwhelming. I add a touch of sugar to mine which makes it the perfect treat. It curbs my sweet tooth!

Preparation
This one reminded me of plain popcorn, predominant in both the scent and flavor, but there’s a lot more to this tea. Early steeps had a faint aroma that reminiscent of dried cherries; subtle flavors of orchid and cinnamon with a lingering aftertaste of homemade bread. Following this through 6 steeps, the latter half became sweet and mild. A deliciously toasty tea–perfect for those who don’t want an aggressively floral oolong.

All this work definitely deserves another cup of tea. I wish it tasted just a good as it smells…however it’s a tad bitter and has a slight buttery taste but without any sort of tannin aftertaste. It has a really nice aroma though so it’ll get me through the rest of the morning!
