Popular Tasting Notes
Surprisingly good!! Im not a fan of cherries but this tea is amazing! Smells perfect, mild not too overpowring cherry flavor. I can taste a bit of coconut which is fine. I think this is one of the best blends I have ever had! This will be one of my fav teas.

Nettle Leaf is another one of the teas from my friend’s tea collection that I am drinking at one o’clock in the morning! But we are having fun here and that’s what counts.
This tea has a very strong and overpowering aroma but the taste is not that strong; it is very soothing and medicinal. Not something I would drink everyday, but it was nice to drink at this hour and I would think it would be good for sore throats? I’m not an expert but that’s the impression that I’m getting.
Once brewed the smell takes on a strong, almost bitter scent. The flavor is interesting, stronger than most teas, but still pleasant. It has very earthy flavors, but sets itself apart from black tea in that it finishes with a hint of mild sweetness.

Preparation
Out of all the cake teas I’ve had so far from Davidstea, this one is probably the weakest (truthfully, I have not tried Ice Cream cake because it smelled like nothing special). Without adding sugar and milk, this stuff tastes… like blah. Even when I did steep it correctly at the right temperature! All I tasted was black tea, and a subtle chocolate taste. It wasn’t very sweet at all, and I didn’t like how the sprinkles kind of made a residual oily thing in my steeper. Anyways, I have not tried this cold or with milk so I will review it with that when I get the chance. Right now, it’s just boring.
I’ve tried about ten different Jasmine Pearls, and this one is the weakest of the lot. By that I mean one has to put about five times the amount of leaves into the strainer to get the same strength of flavour from this brand, as compared to other brands. Comparing the amount of leaf to the price, this is just outrageous. I definitely won’t be buying this again.
First my tip about this blend: Get it separated! You will find that it will taste more like it does in store because we keep it separated. ;)
I wanted an extra spicy cup of chai so I used a little more then I usually would for a cup, 2 teaspoons of each for a 12 oz cup. Would have made a full 16 oz but my cup can’t hold that much so I stuck with it. Haha!
I love this blend. It’s not too overpowering in any sense. With it being double strength currently (as I brewed it) I am enjoying the stronger presence of the Cinnamon. The spice feels nice on the throat going down. Nice and sweet. _____
