Popular Tasting Notes
A USDA organic black tea with tasting notes of vanilla and caramel, the loose tea has rose petals and nice quality tea leaves. A rich, smooth blend and full flavor, pleasant to drink; the vanilla flavor lingers on the tongue for a nice strong aftertaste. A great tea to compliment dessert or on its own for a treat. Ingredients: 100% OCIA certified organic black tea, 100% organic rose petals & natural vanilla flavor. The tea tin is cute design and includes recipe for Tea Latte.
Preparation
This is hands-down the best chamomile tea I have ever tasted. It’s very flavorful and produces a beautiful golden-yellow cup. Very smooth with some slight honey flavor. I love drinking this before bedtime to help me sleep.

Preparation
Vanilla green is my go-to tea, any day of the week. It smells and tastes of warm cookies. With a pinch of raw sugar and some honey, I am whisked away to a perfect world where nothing can bother me and it’s just me and my tea. After reading a few tasting notes by others, I would absolutely love to make a vanilla green tea cupcake of sorts. I feel this tea would be the perfect ingredient! For $2 to sample it for yourself, you can’t go wrong (unless, of course you choose not to try it). I’m glad I did!
Preparation
Yes, this is what tea is meant to be. Wonderful smell (almost floral). Tea itself is sweet and subtle and very much up my alley.
Underleafed the first cup. Don’t do that; it’s not strong enough.
Had some weirdness with bitter pine/resin/plastic notes when I got towards the bottom of the sample tin. Not sure what to put that down to (lower quality leaf bits? wonky water? unclean mug?).
In any case, definitely buying a bigger stash.

Sadly discontinued … This was my favorite tea for many years. Just wanted to say for anyone else who’s missing it – I recently got turned on to Republic of Tea Milk Oolong, and although it isn’t really the same, somehow it feels familiar, and helps fill the aching void in my heart left by the absence of Republic of Tea Persimmon White Tea. Give it a try if you’re still carrying a torch!
