This is quite a yummy tea that I was able to try thanks to my friend Stephanie. I’m sad to see it go out of my cupboard, but I sure did enjoy it while I had it. It smells of nice, warm, poached pears but tastes more mellow.

drank Cactus Fig by Teaopia

I am absoultely addicted to Cactus Fig!! Sadly, its being discontinued in Teavana stores. :(

After bringing the water to a boil, I let it cool for 1 minute before steeping. If you steep this tea for any longer than 1 minute, you’ll get really bitter tea.

Anyone know where else I can find this tea?!

Great tea! I got into peppermint during the summer when I wanted hot tea that was soothing to a sore throat but cooling at the same time. The mint gives a “cool finish,” the flavor is wonderful, and it smells so good! I tend to just leave the bag in until the cup is gone, but I like my tea pretty strong.

Can’t say that I’m a fan. Tastes more like juice than tea, and the pom just seems to turn super scidic right away. Will not be turning to this one again.

This is a decent black tea. It doesn’t have a strong flavor but what it lacks in punch it makes up for in smoothness. Very smooth tea.

It’s a very smooth tea, with just the barest hint of spice. It’s not overly strong, but it has a nice presence when you drink it. I think the word is “satisfying”. I took it without anything, but I can see this being a very good tea for early mornings in an armchair or late nights after a long day. I love that there’s a nice ratio of green tea to it, because black tea tends to upset my stomach, and the cinnamon lends it a very nice smell but doesn’t make it too spicy to drink when you’re tired. All in all, it’s a very relaxing tea. In terms of taste, it’s nice. I don’t think it stands out particularly one way or the other, but I’d want this one in my cupboard for those days when I just need a nice cuppa to help me unwind. It doesn’t demand too much attention when you drink it, but you leave the empty cup feeling better than before you had it.
