Popular Tasting Notes
Extract from a review at www.tastethetea.co.uk ; Flavour
In comparison to the aroma, the flavour is much more floral, with a slight herb finish. However, all the tasting notes in Gentle Giant are subtle, giving the tea a light body. This all unites to make an incredibly soothing and relaxing brew, perfect for destressing. And… there is next to no caffeine in this blend, so if you don’t have any stresses (and I hope you don’t) then this is great as a pre-bed tea.

Preparation
1/3 in a Matcha Single Serves package that I bought. This is definitely not the best matcha I’ve tasted! I’ve custom ordered peppermint green tea lattes at Starbucks before, so I know that mint should be able to coexist with matcha in a single drink, but the taste of this packet is just awful. And, yes, Starbucks adds sugar to their lattes, so of course the comparison is not perfect. However, when compared to pure Japanese green tea matcha that I regularly purchase at a Japanese supermarket, this packet falls short too.
Preparation
I could have sworn I wrote a note about this one already…I had it early last week, I believe. I think I was expecting a more identifiable floral flavor, but all I really got was white tea. I enjoyed the cup (and the two more I was able to resteep), but it wasn’t what I’d thought it would be. I’m surprised to read some reviews stating that this had too strong of a flower taste for them. I probably need to drink this again with a more discerning palate before I rate it.
