1024 Tasting Notes
Just enough in a cheeky little sample from the wonderful ashleyelizabeth for me to brew up a pot of dessert, topped off with some vanilla soy. Yes, perfect with creamer and sweetener (or a creamer/sweetener duo like vanilla soy!); not as good on its own. But who needs to drink this on its own anyway? Yum.
Preparation
My first tasting note for the tea that prompted my epic swap haul with ashleyelizabeth!
I had a cup the other day but I steeped too much leaf for too long and it ended up coming out a little bitter, so I wanted to remedy that today and I reckon I hit the nail on the head.
2tsp in my 12oz timolino for just over three minutes gave me a lovely white tea with sweet coconut and just the faintest hint of vanilla, barely detectable really—the white tea and coconut were enough to hold their own!
Yep, I’m gonna be quite happy drinking the rest of this.
Flavors: Coconut
Preparation
Needed something desserty and far too much of my T2 stocks are still boxed! Finally let myself crack this open, hoarded just before Christmas. Only a small amount (25g) in a trio with original cocoa loco and the mint version, too, but orange is my jam so I went with my gut.
Brewed up a little pot and had some on its own and some with a dash of vanilla soy, because I am in quite a dessert mood! Very happy with this treat.
Hot tip: doesn’t survive more than one infusion. (Heck, I’ll always try.)

Preparation
I thought I’d done something quite dumb and burnt the crap out of these leaves last night when I brewed them up for an iced tea for the fridge (used to working with celcius temperatures, saw the “98” part of “198F” and steeped the leaves in near-boiling water), but thankfully they survived, and in a half/half split of iced coco-lemon thai and soda water, I’ve finally found the correct way for me to enjoy this.
Look, I won’t say that I’m miserable to have almost used this up, but I’m also glad that I did get to try it. It’s certainly an odd duck.
So I forgot to take my timolino to work today which meant I had nothing to steep tea in (lesson learnt; throwing a couple of infusers into my bag to leave at work tomorrow). But it did mean that when I got home today I drank down a cold timolino of Love Tea #7 with great abandon. I brewed this up from a second leaf infusion on Friday afternoon… it basically steeped all weekend and I have to admit it was totally delicious today. Heaps of berries.
