1024 Tasting Notes
Lovely, lovely, lovely. Probably on the scale with Forever Nuts for its warm sweetness, I think. Just perfect for curling up in bed on a drizzly cold night like tonight (winter appears to be arriving early, much to my utter delight). I suppose we’ll see how much the green tea may keep me awake though—surely it will be better than the black tea I had just before bed last night. What a rotten night of sleep that was! I can only assume the two things were related.
Anyway, I would stock more of this in a heartbeat. Really so nice. So grateful I got the chance to try some thanks to ashleyelizabeth.
Preparation
So ashleyelizabeth was good enough to do a DAVIDsTEA run for me and picked up some samples of teas I’ve been longing for since my trip to the USA over the new year.
Sipping this cup of Love Tea #7 takes me right back to burling up the Avenue of the Americas on my motorised scooter (thanks, broken ankle, you made being a tourist quite a struggle) from Flatiron to the Theatre District on one of the coldest days I’ve ever experienced in my life, polar vortex what what.
It’s sweet and delicate and I’m so glad I can still taste that day in this tea. Sense memory is a wonderful thing.
I really gotta finish that blog post.
