1024 Tasting Notes
Feeling tummy gripe-y this afternoon. Let’s get rid of this tasty sample. I’m not allowed to restock this until I’ve gotten the rest of my ridiculous tea collection right down, but you’d better believe as soon as that happens my Sunrise baby is going straight back to the pool room. Love forever.
Finally busted open this box that’s been on the shelf forever, because its Best Before is on the horizon. Eep! I gotta up my tea-drinking ante!
I think I originally picked this up to use as a blend-with-others tea. In fact, I’m almost certain of it. And yet I tried it the other night on its own, just for a spot-check. It’s fine. It’s quite tart. I’m going to check out the T2 website to see how many blends it goes into and then maybe play with those.
I went out of my way to grab some lemons the other night because I could no longer resist my craving for some of this, and the only way I can truly enjoy it is with a squeeze of lemon, because I still can’t get over how weirdly creamy it turns this blend. YUM, YUM, YUM. I think I’m going to have to restock this, my supplies are dwindling and I don’t think I can live without it in the cupboard.
Though I did have a (forgotten) cup of it cold next to the bed this morning and that was a bit weird. Might microwave it.
Gosh darn it, I thought this would be a sipdown but somehow I never added this sample to my cupboard. It’s fine. IT’S FINE.
It’s heading into winter in little old Hobart town and the air has gotten quite crisp in the last couple of weeks (WELCOME, WINTER!!!). It’s a nice quiet Monday night on the desk at work so I’ve brewed this up to sip while watching My Shows.
Uh… it’s really tasty? Not sure why the negativity from others, I’m not getting any overwhelmingly punchy spice, it all sits nicely and it smells LOVELY. I brewed in a pot with maybe 3/4 hot water, 1/4 steamed milk, added a little bit of honey and yum! Just what I wanted it to be for this kind of weather.
