248 Tasting Notes
I haven’t had honeybush in a while, I got this to try out in one of my Adagio blends but I think the orange is too light for what I was looking for. This is tasty but I’m not sure I’d purchase again, the orange there enough. I’ll try some longer steeping and see how that goes.
Tea: 2 tsp
Water: Filtered, a little under 16oz
Additives: None
Preparation
Had this at work yesterday, I’ve transported a small collection of bagged tea there to both get rid of it and enjoy tea at work. This is probably end up with me buying more bagged tea but eh.
Anywho, if you like cinnamon tea this is loaded with it. I love cinnamon in tea but this was almost a bit much (I may have also over-brewed a tad). I could feel the cinnamon swish around in my mouth. It was good but man it had a kick. :)
Preparation
Nom nom nom. Finally finishing up my sample from the fall pack, because I ordered more!
Cinnamon is one of my favorite spices so I love finding it in teas, and marshmallow is another favorite. I think this was my favorite of the fall sampler, the pumpkin one was good as well. The marshmallow adds a hint of sweetness. It’s just a feel good cuppa!
Preparation
Mmm lovely. I was going to come on here and say I haven’t really tried any new teas, and it’s true. I’ve had this before but I haven’t written anything about it! I picked this up at the beach a few months ago, at a little tea and beer house I hope made it through Sandy. It was a cool place!
Anyway, this tea is delicious. Light and fruity with the white peony shining through, how I like my white tea. It’s gorgeous to look at as well. Probably very good iced! The pomegranate is the main fruit flavor, but the blueberry is definitely there. Not tart, lightly sweet. Very tasty, and I know it brews a decent second cup from experience.
Tea: about 3 teaspoons

Again from the virtual tasting…
Mmm cinnamon. This is pretty good, I love white tea but I don’t have a lot of white tea blends. The orange/citrus is fairly light, at leas to me, I could actually stand more (I love orange!) but I’m not sure how well orange peels transfer the taste. The chocolate is there was well, again light but I’m okay with that. Super tasty, love the stuff sTEAp Shoppe does, definitely planning a future order (with more Smokey Mountain sTEAp!
From the virtual tasting earlier today…
This one may need to be renamed, but it was still super tasty.
There was a definite milky quality to this, like I had added a bit milk already. Smooth and creamy. I had trouble tasting the caramel, but I could definitely smell it in the cup. For a tea with chocolate in the name, I didn’t get a lot from this blend. The fenugreek was interesting (at least I think that’s what I tasted), definitely need to get my hands on this so I can at least smell it plain.
