New members welcome thread.
Hi all!
I’m Dan and I’m new to this forum. I like to travel and visit tea rooms for afternoon tea! I’ve been to tea rooms in Victoria BC, Vienna, Venice, Jamaica, and around the Great Northwest USA. I like to make vlogs of my visits, which you can find here:

Does anyone else like afternoon tea service? If so, I’d love to know where you’ve been!

Yes, I had tea at both Empress and Butchart Gardens. I should be posting a video for each over the next couple months or so! I’d say that Empress has the best house blend that I’ve yet tried anywhere. It’s delicious!
There are several hotels like the Empress in Canada. All different, of course, but similar and they all do a proper tea. We have one here too. :)
I want to welcome a friend of mine to the site. I talked him into joining us on here.

Welcome to all the newcomers, it is great to see new faces!
To answer your question, cows do prefer to drink their tea with milk, except for green tea which is yummier without
Hey all, just wrote a ‘new’ post about getting your recommendations for new “clean” teas, since I’m new here and somewhat new to the world of tea. Feel free to hit me up with your favourites!
Hi, I’m new to the site. I have been a bit of a tea junkie for a while, especially since I gave up coffee about 10 years ago. Not a connoisseur per se, and don’t stray into esoterica, but I love my loose tea, to the point where I bring my own tea and pot whenever I travel. Looking forward to learning more about tea here.
Hello, introducing myself!
I am a novice drinker, but I find myself becoming more and more immersed in the world of tea everyday. I am a purchaser for a company that sells tea among other things, so I occasionally get some awesome samples to try. :)
Hello all!
New to the site and most kinds of tea. I’ve been a coffee drinking most of my life with the occasional earl grey or irish breakfast blend. I decided to take a chance on a sampler from Verdant as well as a few puerh teas from Liquid Proust. So far I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried and look forward to learning more! =)
Hi all, I am a daily tea drinker and I am also trying to work my way into the tea business selling artisanal leaf tea produced by small farmers in Assam, India. I already have the tea, but I could use some business contacts (maybe shops or cafés that might want to carry it) and of course some good reviews of the tea itself. It would be great if I could find a few tea bloggers here who would be willing to review my tea in exchange for free samples. Let me know if you’re interested! Other than that, I’m happy to discover such a big online community for tea addicts. It’s nice knowing you are not alone!
Hello everyone!
I’m not new to tea, but I’m trying to expand my horizons. I’ll drink almost any kind of tea, but I prefer greens, herbals and white teas. I’m open to new kinds of tea, even outside my usual, PARTICULARLY outside of my usual! I’m looking for new teas to try and am VERY interested in trying my hand at making my own teas!
Thanks and happy drinking!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I love learning about tea and getting everyones different perspectives on the tea world.
