This may not be a fancy, super high quality tea – but it is nice enough as a soothing cup with a bit of honey. I don’t think I would purchase this, however, I wouldn’t turn it down if offered.

I found the tartness in this tea to be quite overwhelming and too sour for my taste. Otherwise, it has great fruit flavors but I agree with the others about the hibiscus being a bit too much for me to completely enjoy it.

I really, really like this tea. They have it at the dining center where I attend school. It’s a fantastic end to an otherwise bland meal.

Note: The water I usually steep this tea in is at a sustainable steaming temperature, however I don’t know exact numbers. It is just what they provide.

At first I was skeptical to try it sans additive, but quickly discovered my affinity for strong and unusual flavors. Brewed correctly, Passion is a tart and mildly sweet herbal tea, and, in my opinion, best served hot. The finish is sour and dry, which I love. The hibiscus gives it a wonderful color and aroma. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re looking for a fruity finish.

drank Green Ginger by Tazo

It’s strange. I can surely taste the ginger and the pear…
but together it tastes like tap water.
It’s not bad if I drink it mindlessly while I’m studying or writing, but
if I actually try to have a ‘tea-moment’ (hahah) then it starts to taste like soap.
tap water soap and swimming pool water. oh nos

Not sure how I feel about this tea. Smells great but a bit sour. I think it would be better iced. Not one of my favourites. Thats for sure.

drank Zen Full Leaf Tea by Tazo

I had this tea at Starbucks the other day and it was very good. The spearmint adds a bit of a kick, yet it is very calming a at the same time. I think they have done a pretty good job since they introduced the full leaf teas a few years ago, and not nearly as “dusty” tasting as the previous iteration.

Iced, it is quite tasty, again with the spearmint giving it a refreshing aspect. The barrista can also add lemonade, and though it is kind of fake tasting, it is still quite yummy.

I find this one very bitter when over-steeped, so I have a very short steep time when having it hot.

drank Tazo Chai by Tazo

Backlog.

A nice strong no-fuss chai. I’ve been brewing up teabags at work lately (great way to reduce the stash!) and had this with some cream and sugar the other day. it was pretty tasty. I do typically prefer loose-leaf chais, because I can drink them straight, but the strength of this one makes it perfect for lattes (or pseudo-lattes).

Yum, hit the spot much better than that Red Rose from yesterday, mostly because I could taste the tea! I’ve always liked the Tazo chai though; it’s a pretty classic chai in my opinion. Had it with milk & sugar this morning (so a bit of a backlog).

I’ve always hated mint tea… But I guess I could see why people can like it.
Tazo mint tea is by far the best I’ve tried.
And it’s called ‘refresh’ for a reason – hahah
It’s like a wave of cold (but hot) just washing over your mouth, nose and even eyes lol
whoosh

I LOVE this tea!!
It tastes just as it smells (that’s always impressive) and I can taste all flavours perfectly. The only thing is that as with all other herbal teas it kind of gets a sour after taste. Probably because I oversteeped it. But I do like letting out as much flavour as I can…
Any tea experts to help me with this problem?

I reaaaaally hate the minty taste to this…
Any time I actually spend money buying green tea – I’d like to be able to treat myself and add a bit of sugar and milk,
but with the mint coming through so much, I just don’t know how to go about drinking this tea.

NOT a fan of mint

drank Earl Grey by Tazo

Surprise! I finally found out the perfect way for me to have Earl Grey. It is now the only tea that I take with additives. It needs milk and sugar or else this is a very unpleasant tea for me; I don’t know why that is. This blend is actually pretty nice when brewed correctly. Maybe this flavor is just growing on me.
I’m actually surprised at one aspect of this tea: it keeps me awake; wired even. This and matcha are the only teas that I drink that I can tell is having some effect on my awake-ness. I actually needed that tonight so I’m pretty glad I have this on hand!

drank Wild Sweet Orange by Tazo

This is absolutely undrinkable. It certainly tastes of orange, but only in the worst way. It is sour to the point of being unbearable, and I couldn’t even suffer through the remainder of the cup. It tastes like Tazo discovered citric acid and added a handful to each teabag along with a piece of orange peel.

drank China Green Tips by Tazo
91 tasting notes

This is one of the teas that is provided in the break room at work. I usually stick with my own personal stash, but every now and then I feel like something different and will snag one of the tea bags that sounds interesting at the moment.

This morning, I remembered a conversation with a friend in the office about how much she has enjoyed the China Green Tips, so I thought this would be a good morning to give it a try.

I have to admit that I am a bit surprised at how decent this is. I wouldn’t call it a particularly high quality tea, but it doesn’t have some of those gross qualities that are so common of bagged teas, especially a green. It doesn’t have a lot of flavor, but more than I expected. It actually somehow reminds me of the Dragonwell from The Tea Spot more than anything else right now. Both just sort of seem good, but not something I’d go for if I’m in the mood for something more flavorful.

This has got to be the worst tea I have ever tasted in my entire life. Someone gifted me a bag of this so I thought I’d give it a whirl. The teabag smelled a bit questionable from the get go. Like an ultra sweet powdery orange candy. But steeped, it unleashed its wrath and turned into ultra bad Tang, or stale chewable Vitamin C tablets. Or something. I mean, I actually enjoy the latter. They make my cold battles fun times. This though? Was psychologically scarring.

Long story short: why?!

The cinnamon and pepper in this tea is completely overwhelming! This is the taste I get in my mouth when I watch youtube videos of people trying to do the cinnamon dragon breath challenge.

I had to add a lot of cream and sugar into it in order to finish my cup. I really don’t know what I am going to do with the rest of the box.

Wow, was this one orange. But I don’t see the “sweet” in the name. It was ridiculously tart. I didn’t think it was as bad as other steepsters. I had the urge to add sugar to it. I never add sugar to teas. I eat enough sugar elsewhere anyway. This had a ton of orange flavor, but I’m not sure how artificial it was.

My first taste of this cuppa was at the Omni in Philly a couple of years ago. I added cream and sugar and was very impressed. Bold in taste and color, this is my go-to tea when I feel the need for a cup of coffee.
