7 Tasting Notes
I wasn’t expecting much from this tea mostly because I am not a big lavender fan. The girl at David’s Tea convinced me that I would love it, so I bought it. First sip… not bad I must admit, even though it smells like lavender, it definitely takes more like coconut and boy do I love coconut! It is tasty!
Preparation
Alright, I changed my mind. I decided to give Pink Flamingo another try… mostly because I was so enthused about it and very frustrated I found so bitter the first time I tried it. This time I tried to steep it less to see if that would do the trick… and well it did! It was delicious. It had a nice citrus-y, orange-y flavour to it that reminder me of summer under the palm trees. That’s it, I like it!
Preparation
I was very excited about this tea. I love the colour, the smell… everything about it. It came out so bitter though! I still haven’t figured out what I don’t like about it. I was almost upset I didn’t like it as much as I would have liked! I added sugar but it didn’t make much of a difference. Maybe if I just steep it less? I’ll have to try that.
