drank Decaf Vanilla by Adagio Teas

Smells better than it tastes, at least first time ‘round. Steeped for the recommended 3 minutes, will probably try going longer next time. The bitterness doesn’t bother me, its just kind of bland on the whole though. Maybe its because I put flavored creamer in but I’m not really tasting any vanilla, and barely any of the black tea. So, not awful, hell maybe if I did it a certain way it’d be pretty good, but definitely not one I’ll be buying again (feeling pretty grateful that I only got the sampler instead of full size).

Bought on accident (thought it was just a regular Acai Mango tea), brewed as usual, was quite confused when I tasted sweetener in there.

The fake sweetener taste definitely screws up the taste, but the tea itself isn’t half bad. I’d definitely buy the regular kind if I can ever find it, granted I do plan on continuing to drink this stuff. Its better cold for me, I taste less of that gross artificial taste, but its not terrible warm either. As with all tisanes, I steep it for a long time, so I might be tasting it significantly different than others.

Probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, honestly.

That honey taste is unbelievable, especially to me because I tend not to care much for honey or honey flavor.

Barely needs any sugar (again, notable for me, I’m known to oversugar stuff occasionally), makes a beautiful deep red color, and tastes unbelievably good with a lovely, sweet aftertaste. Just finished up my jar of it yesterday and I’m still lamenting it a bit.

Bought on a whim when I saw it at Big Lots for $2, and because I really like rooibos. Very nice, little bit of sugar goes a long way since its just inherently sweet. I steep mine for a looong time and its extremely flavorful, one of the few teas I can drink iced as well.

I like the Madagascar Vanilla a bit better, but then I’m just a sucker for vanilla. For something fruity, its very, very nice.

Got this a while back to fill in for the Bigelow caramel vanilla I love so much (didn’t see it at the store). Definitely pleasantly surprised, first steep it smelled almost waxy, some odd smell to it.

Drinking it though, at least when I’m in the mood for something sweet, is lovely. About a teaspoon of sugar and a little bit of caramel creamer, stepped for a good 5-6 minutes, and I could drink a few cups of the stuff quite happily. The little edge of bitterness keeps it from sickeningly sweet (at least for me).

I’ve been wanting to try this so long, friend of mine picked it up for me last weekend and now I’m glad I never bought it online.

Its nice, tastes kind of like a fall-spices chai, but…really kind of disappointing. I didn’t really taste pumpkin, and I had to steep it for quite a while to get a really good taste of it.

First time around I steeped for about 4 minutes, added a small amountof milk and a good bit of sugar. Second time around, which was much better, I steeped a lot longer, used a vanilla creamer and less sugar.

I’ve been wanting to try this for ages, finally picked it up recently, and finally finally tried it about 20 minutes ago.

For me, it tastes how it smells, prominently a fantastic mix of chocolate and mint. I don’t barely taste the rooibos at all, but I’m also definitely noticing the lack of “tea taste” while there’s something else than just chocolate and mint.

I steeped mine for quite a while because I made about 3/4 of a pot to share with my boyfriend, came out a very nice dark caramel shade.

Personally, I love the taste of it, it absolutely lived up to my high expectations even though there’s little to no rooibos taste to it.
My ONLY issue with it how fine the tea itself is, after my second cup there was a decent-sized pile of leaves left over.

I let this one steep for quite a while. Usually I boil up water, pour it in, and then go do something for a bit and come back to it. Bought it out of curiosity and I definitely like it, just not quite as much as I love my earl grey.

drank Rooibos Chai by Teavana

Again, caught off guard with the lemongrass, but I love it. The first time I tried it I only hate fake sugar and soy milk on hand and it was STILL excellent.

I absolutely want to try my rooibos chais after this. My only issue is that occasionally, bits of lemongrass will fall through my strainer and that’s just..eugh.

I am an absolute whore for rooibos and honeybush and if Adagio Tea was a person, I’d probably send them 20-page love letters written in scrawing lunatic handwriting. Okay, maybe not that bad but aaagh. Yes. I like them quite a bit.

I always drink decaf, as I’ve got an awful sensitivity to caffeine due to my anxiety issues. So, don’t rag on me too hard about it, yes?
