last bag of anything remotely lemon-ginger in my collection :( I REALLY need to buy more of Stash’ Lemon Ginger (which is stronger than this). This is my go-to tea when I am sick. Today I am going all out and adding lemon juice, mashed ginger, cayenne pepper, and some local honey. I really need to kick this virus and be better by Friday!

speaking of honey, here’s a good reason to buy local/organic vs. processed big name grocery chain stuff: http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2011/11/tests-show-most-store-honey-isnt-honey/

Awful! Read the article, something should be done. One of my former students now has an organic farm and I buy my table honey from her. I guess I need to start buying it ALL from her or my produce market!

Wow. So rating this tea while sick was an aesthetic misstep. This tea has a really nice lemon-ginger flavor/aroma. I had some last night to help pass the last hour at work and it was so enjoyable I immediately had a second mugful. Still not as good as actually infusing ginger and lemon into hot water, but nice for a non-caffeine pick me up.

After having dinner tonight my stomach was just not feeling right for some reason. As much as I’m not exactly a ginger fan, I know its good for settling the stomach, so I pulled out my unopened box of this. I made sure to steep it for a short amount of time so the ginger isn’t too strong.

It’s not too bad really, I probably wouldn’t ever drink this unless I was feeling nauseous, such as now, but it’s okay. Not sure if it’s going to help settle my stomach though, guess I’ll wait it out!

There is a bit of sweetness to this tea, however it gets very acidic if left too long. It makes an excellent tea when you are sick and is also very nice iced. I recommend adding a bit of sweetener.

I like lemon to be stronger than ginger in a lemon & ginger tea and this tea. However, ginger tastes about twice or three times as strong as the lemon in this tea. That being said it is still alright but not my favorite.

It is a very light tea, in my opinion. It’s only the second time I’ve steeped this tea but I do like it even if it is very heavy on the lemon flavour. As I’m normally not a lemon fan it seems a bit odd I do enjoy these lemon teas a fair bit. Otherwise the ginger does give it a strong kick as an aftertaste and all in all a nice relaxing cup to have before bed.

I had this at my in-laws house yesterday. It was pretty good. Relatively mild for a ginger tea, and the lemon complemented the ginger well. I do wish the lemon flavor had been a bit stronger. This is probably not my favorite lemon and ginger tea, but it’s definitely one I would be willing to drink again.

This one comes out with a nice blend of lemon and ginger with the lemon being stronger, which is a welcome change from other ginger tea which is borderline too strong for me. I have a feeling that this one would work out very well as an ice tea a a bit of a herbal tea lemonade.

I bought this by mistake, thinking it was the Stash blend (the boxes are both yellow) what a huge disappointment!
WAAY too lemony. Almost tastes like hot lemonade. Where is the ginger?

Yuck.
