The strawberry taste here is somehow artificial and cloying, and the base tea is way too light and transparent that I can barely sense it.I assume it would work nicer using green/black tea instead of rooibos.

I actually had ONE tea bag of this a few months ago upon receiving it on a tea swap off of swap-bot.com, and I still remember how good it was. I emailed Twinings of London because I couldn’t find it anywhere and to my sadness they told me it was only available in the UK. SO SAD!!! But, these folks are so nice that they sent me out a sampler package of a bunch of similar-tasting teas available right here! Nothing can compare to the smoothness of this tea of course, but I just thought that was nice and I had to share. I’ll never have you again, unless I make friends with a brit or move to london. :(

This was a very generous sample from KittyLovesTea – Thanks!!

I didn’t have very high hopes for this, but it isn’t half bad as an accompaniment to an evening of Netflix.

I used to drink this all of the time a few years ago as I was a huge herbal tea fan. After experiencing the finer (and the not so finer) tea’s of the world I wonder how this one will bear now.

Colour: Dark Red
Smell: Sweet strawberry with soothing vanilla.

Taste: The strawberry tastes somewhat synthetic..almost like a lollypop or some sort of cordial. The taste of the Rooibos is only very subtle in the background and is hard to distinguish between that and the vanilla. Altogether it’s quite a mild flavour but with a lasting after taste of vanilla.

Certainly like warm squash which I used to drink as a child when it became cold. I would say this is the sort of tea that beginners can enjoy and regular tea drinkers can enjoy as something different. Great for summer.
