23 Tasting Notes
It really has been forever and a day since my last tasting note, but that’s what having chirrins will do to ya lol.
I’m almost completely out of my supply of this one. SO GOOD. I iced it this time, didn’t really change the flavor. I used Agave nectar in Amber with it, and it made it taste really woodsy.
Preparation
YEP! Still one of my favorites! Even with off-name-brand budget artificial sweetener this stuff is liquid gold nectar of the gods. At 35 weeks pregnant I can honestly recommend this tea for soothing the stomach and aiding in the morning outside chillies. Adding a splash of lemon juice changes the flavor completely, almost turning this into what could very well possibly be fruity. This morning I chose a new mug, as well, so I think the specialness of this little gray box next to my creamer will never fade.
Tonight I tried Mate Lemon.
LIQUID. LEMON. DROP.
Delicious. Since being pregnant, Ive had to switch from sugar to sucralose or even stevia, due to my gestational diabetes. Lemme tell you stevia leaves really do taste good. especially in teas. This green tea with lemon, is like a liquid lollipop.
One of my favorites. Deep black tea dust with a thick smoky oil slick of delicious bergamot oil floating on the top like the puddle in the intro to Little Shop of Horrors. Just some plain ole good shit. :) I really will always love this one. Kinda biased. Idk. :) Yum though.

Ahem. This is some good shit, ’scuse my french. I LOVE! This strawberry tea, as it tastes exactly what you expect. In the good aspect. Its not all “strawberry flavor” BUT! It does remind me of those strawberry christmas candies with the jelly inside. Great paired with an episode of Doctor Who.
:D Or at least that’s how Im taking it this saturday morning.

So, thank you so much Drink The Leaf, for such a generous sample. When I dove into this orange swirly pool of deliciousness, I rejoiced knowing that I could enjoy about 6 more cups of this stuff before I ran out and had to buy some of my own. Let’s just say I’d buy this by the pound. Its wonderful! I love the orange oil Christmastide of it along with the strength of black tea that I love. No wimpyness here! Deck the halls and trick or treat in the same damn cup. Hell yeah.

Thanks to Drink Me for this free sample!!
Ok so, totally unbiased opinion, this stuff is pretty freakin good. A little sweeter than Im used to, but it works. When they say spiced, they mean it, too. :) And it wasnt all clumpy like I was half expecting. Great instant powder drink mix for a rainy morning. :) Love in a cup.
Preparation
:) Im pretty much planning on going through this box within a few days. Being disciplined enough just to have one tea bag in the mornings, of course! Today I tried Breakfast Blend. Super awesome, I know I used a bit too much sugar, but it was still yummy. Not as strong as I would like, but It was a pretty gold color! :D Pairs up nicely with a handful of grapes and a toasted bagel with butter.
And thank you, Kuerig for working today, you are greatly appreciated.
Preparation
This morning I decided to try Chocolate Pu-erh. NEVER had a chocolate tea and NEVER had a Pu-erh before…So I guessed around and thought..strong….chocolate…sugar and a shot of creamer. I guess I was right cause this is delicious!! YUM. Im sad there was only one bag of it in the box..what a treat. :D Its not quite like hot cocoa or anything like my dumb brain was trying to imagine while being half asleep, but it’s kind of good that way. The best of both worlds.
OH. and eff you, mini kuerig. why you have forsaken giving me hot water in the morning I’ll never know. Stop being on the fritz! I did nothing to you. Please be my friend again.
