Organic Snow Buds is a distinctive white tea from very high elevation Nepal. The gardens for this tea are between 6900 and 7300 ft elevation, which has a direct impact on the taste and quality of the tea. The stress of the elevation (cold, wind, UV exposure, etc.) brings out some aromatic qualities of the tea that are hard to get from more low lying tea gardens. Additionally, high elevation teas tend to have a lighter and less abrasive body than lower elevation teas.
Organic High Mountain Snow Buds has a very fresh and peachy Darjeeling-like character to it. It’s sweet, tasting of fresh sunshine and yellow fruits with a pleasing sparkly mouthfeel and a gently expansive finish.
