From The Finest Brew

Also known as Dragon Well in English, this tea was made famous by Qing Emperors and was often served to visiting heads of States. This Long Jing is grown around the West Lake (Xihu) in the mountainous region of Hangzhou. This pan-roasted green tea is renowned for its delightful vegetal flavor, creamy feel with a pale green liquor. It is considered to be one of the best teas in China.

Received in its freshest form at The Finest Brew Beijing offi ce; the leaves are once again thoroughly examined as part of rigorous quality control before packing with great care. It is then couriered to our warehouse in South San Francisco to make its way to you as quickly as possible.

I had left a sticky note on the tin of this tea to remind myself to slow down and enjoy this tea. :-) So that is what I am doing.

I can see why I slurped it so fast last time. It’s so darn good. It’s vegetal with a creamy feel to it. Nutty and sweet. I can even smell the slight nutty aroma. The creamy feel of it would make it an excellent afternoon tea but it’s still great for the morning.

Changed my rating. This is such a good tea.
