“Tastewise very light but still thick with good Qi. Images and more at https://puerh.blog/teanotes/2016-wuliang-b-eot” Read full tasting note
This tea comes from trees thought to be several hundred years old, growing at around 1800m altitude in Wuliang mountain. This area is well off the beaten track for tea buyers and as such the price is still very reasonable for tea of this quality. The environment is very pure, surrounded by virgin forest and far away from commercial agriculture. No agrochemicals have been used on these tea trees.
The tea itself is thick and rich in the mouth, with good duration and energy. The aftertaste is very stable and long-lasting.
