Teabagsipdown! Tank you CHAroma! I have to say that this one got a good sniff after being brewed and then after a quick sip, it may have started its journey down the drain. In part because I dislike jasmine it also because this doesn’t smell a lot like jasmine..just a random floral scent. Th taste wasn’t much better. My other half said it smelled like aunt jemima’s underwear…whatever that means lol

One of the very few green teas I like. It tastes like stereotypical Chinese restaurant Jasmine tea, but with good quality tea and a nice floral note to it without being too strong or bitter. It doesn’t taste “Healthy” and bitter and just… icky like most green teas do these days, but honestly good. Natural sweetness occurs in it, bitter only if rebrewed. I was pleasantly surprised after going to HomeGoods and getting it for around $3. Leaves are nice and fresh, nice full leaves as well. Not quite tips, but really good.

Another stringless teabag! I don’t know if it’s because I just read Sil’s note or what, but upon first sniff, the brewed tea aroma smelled like dirty diapers. Ewww! Upon second sniff…floral dirty diapers. Yuck. I am not looking forward to trying this one.

Luckily, the flavor doesn’t quite match the aroma, but it also doesn’t taste like any jasmine green tea I’ve ever had. The rest of this is definitely going down the drain. Blech. I wish I could wash my nose out. I think the aroma burnt my nose hairs. *Grimace.

While I am no Green Tea expert, I can honestly say I love this tea. Its nice and smooth and the only time I found it bitter was when I severely over brewed it (near boiling water, meant to steep for 2 min. forgot and left it sit for nearly 10!) I have been able to get 4 good infusions on a portion of this tea before the flavor degrades. Also its one of the few Jasmine Greens I’ve tried (out maybe 10ish different brands) that actually has Jasmine buds IN the tea. Very nice!
