Surprisingly, not bad!! Actually almost good! This sent me off onto the disaster that was trying their Mojito, but the Pina Colada is actually not bad. Really strong on the citrus notes and the pineapple, I don’t get anything like the coconut that I would expect to find in a Pina Colada tea. This one is totally tart and citrus flavour. It is however, a pleasant cup. I could see myself keeping a tin of this at work or taking it to friend’s places when loose leaf tea is going to be a hassle. Overall, not quite the same complexity of flavour that I get from a good loose blend, but a great effort for a mass produced tea!

This is my favorite tea. I brew and chill it. Best drink ever on a hot summer day!

Tried this 2 ways so far:

Way one: 5 tea bags in 2L of water, cold brewed 12h

Way 2: 1 tea bag steeped 2min in 200F water, put in freezer to cool down quickly.

The first way was the best way. With the first way I can taste a lot of coconut flavoring with a bit of the tartness from the apple. Delicate, light flavor. The second way I found it was a lot of tart apple with very little coconut taste. Altogether a decent brew. It doesn’t wow me incredibly, but I do appreciate the lack of hibiscus sourness. I should have no prob using this tin up; we’ll see if it’s a repurchase.

Ehh, it was interesting to try, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It has an oily taste to it and tastes a lot like stomach acid to me.

I bought this to make as a cold brew and didn’t have too high of expectations. It is more of a citrus tea than pina colada. I’m not getting any coconut here and the licorice gives it kind of a weird sweetness. It’s just ok. I’m not sure yet if I would purchase it again or not.

Not a huge fan either. The Bellini (same line) is excellent iced, though.

I bought the Bellini one as well, good to know!

This is a very unconventional herbal tea but it was better than I expected. I enjoyed it but I don’t think this is an everyday tea.

The ingredient list has several other items I didn’t associate with a Pina Colada such as Apple, Orange peels, licorice root and white hibiscus. There is no pineapple or coconut mentioned in the ingredients so I assume the “natural flavors” must include some natural pineapple and coconut flavor.

Never underestimate the power of junky tea!

I love this stuff, but I also know it’s one of those junky, cheap teas that I can find whenever I’m in Canada… usually. I totally forgot about it until I saw it on sale at a local store, and HAD to grab it.

Yes, I drink this like water. Yes, it’s cheapo tea. Yes, it’s worth every penny.

Boiling 8 min or more

This made me laugh! I say who cares if its cheap you love it and so you should drink it.

Backlog.

Actually not too bad for a random bagged tea! I nabbed a bag of this off someone at work, and was halfway anticipating gross rancid coconut (especially since the canister of teabags had a 50% off sticker on it), but it was fairly light, mild, and nicely fruity-pineapple with creamy coconut. I don’t know exactly what was in it, but it was certainly devoid of hibiscus (YAY), and no weird rooibos flavour (I don’t actually think there was rooibos, but I had been expecting it, so it was a nice surprise not to taste it).
