Thank you to DaisyChubb for sending me a bit of this tea.

A really lovely holiday tea – a nice way to have a little bit of Christmas in July! Sweet and spiced but not what I’d call spicy… the spices really pop after the tea has cooled slightly (where it’s still hot but not piping hot), but I don’t find this hot. It’s more like warm, gentle spices that complement the orange notes.

A nice orange spiced tea that doesn’t go overboard with the spices. Very pleasant and enjoyable.

Another goodie from DaisyChubb!!!

This smells and sort of tastes like Fruit Cake. The Sweet Orange is lovely. The spices are subtle for the most part and flow well. It’s nicely sweet, fruity, spicy, and a bit danish-like.

I really like this!

This was a very good black blend! The spices mixed together well, I especially enjoyed the bit of bite from the peppercorns. The cinnamon speaks up, but not overwhelmingly so…overall this was a very tasty cup! This is a tea I will enjoy while we have it, but I’m not entirely sure it will be one to replace when the bag runs out.

Yum! Absolutely Christmas in a cup.

This is a wonderful spiced black. The taste that stands out the most to me is the “sweet orange”, like a wee Christmas orange :D But a close second is the spiciness – peppercorn and cinnamon in a delish bakey sensation. Amazing tea for Christmas morning (or Wednesday morning, as I had it)

The next day I tried a cold brew. Er.. today! Wow it was great. Like a spiced orange iced tea, gourmet!

I say orange a lot, but orange does not overwhelm this tea at all. It’s really just a part of the larger whole. A delicious tea whole.

I wanted a holiday tea but I didn’t really care for any of Davids Teas holiday offerings this year. Luckily I found this tea at my Chapters bookstore. Because you have to have a proper festive tea to ring in the holidays. ;)

I love the smell of this tea it’s alike a cross between eggnog and fruit cake with almond and citrus. The flavour has a strong sweet orange taste with a slightly hint of nuttiness. The spices are present but muted which I appreciate as I’ve had enough of teas that try to knock you over with cinnamon or cloves.
