“Smoot, buttery, slightly thick, fresh, lingering and steady finish.” Read full tasting note
This is a minimally fermented tea from China – Huangshan District. Hand picked – 2 leaves and a bud, very slightly roasted – maintains the freshness and green ness of the leaves, then folded and pressed whole leaf.
It makes a lovely light tea, the caffeine content is mild however, it gives a light lift to clear the fog that accumulated from the toll of the day.
The brew yields a light, pale green to yellow color, the aroma is fresh and green, the taste is smooth, buttery and fluidly viscous. It has a lingering but steady stay with a tea liquor that gently coats the mouth.
Has the capacity to be brewed 3 times – Gong Fu style before the flavor begins to fade.
