Simao Gold Mini Tea Bricks are convenient single serving compressed teas. The leaves are grown on Wuliang Mountain and processed in Simao District, Puer City, Yunnan. Each mini brick is 4 grams of black tea. The plucking standard for Simao Gold is single bud and two leaves, and the buds develop a golden color during processing. The tea is honey sweet and the brew is vibrant and golden in color. Simao Gold Mini Tea Bricks are of high quality in convenient, elegant packaging.

Cutest little baby brick from the Tea Thoughts fall countdown.

Perfectly lovely tippy Yunnan tea – smooth and satisfying with those trademark bready, malty notes on an earthy base. Apricot and honey are here too, and a smidge of dryness at the tail end that makes me think of the fuzzy skin of an apricot.

Nothing amazing, but a nice Yunnan that made for a pleasant first cup of the day. And such an adorable format!
