Description

In China, this tea is called Lu Mudan or Green Peony. We call it Green Sea Anemone because that’s just what it looks like after the steeping. On a small farm in the China Anhuy Province, individual leaves are hand-tied into rosettes by the skillful hands of tea makers. Enjoy this tea for its beautiful appearance as well as its wonderful taste. It has a striking sweetness with a wonderful lingering aftertaste. Brew it in a clear glass cup or wine glass and enjoy it throughout a meal by simply refilling with hot water as needed.

This tea is also great for on-the-road. It will not become bitter after extended brewing time and even airplane water will be hot enough for a satisfying infusion.

Recommendations: Use 1 rosette per 16 ounces; heat fresh, cold water until steaming (170° F). Rosette can remain in pot for visual appeal.
