Our buds only before Qing Ming Bull Dog Green Tea is sold out, and this is one bud and one leaf grade that’s harvested and produced right after Qing Ming. It’s slightly more roasted than the before Qing Ming one.
Bulldog Green Tea, or Gou Gu Nao in Chinese, is from a historically famous green tea production mountain named “Gou Gu Nao” or Bull Dog in central China. One of the peaks of this mountain range has a shape of a dog head, hence it’s named as Bull Dog Mountain. Gou Gu Nao is normally harvested by one bud and one leaf, and It goes through 4 stages of processing: withering, kill green through pan frying, mildly rolling and drying. Usually the Ming Qian green tea during the last week of March, but due to the warmer weather this year, the harvesting process took place by mid March.
